Muffled Noise

…so? Lol. Gaaaah let me just start by trying to express just how frustrating it was editing Wordpress, because of my nearly non-existent knowledge of PHP. Seriously, knowing HTML did almost nothing to prepare me for this. Just getting the colors straight got me losing my mind. And consequently, I trashed the layout I previously made for this blog, because I can’t get it to work soon enough…I’m about a month of PHP self-study short of using it here. Just…not…right. I’ve never felt happier using someone else’s layout. Actually since I don’t have the time to make layouts as much as I used to anymore, I guess this is a better option — modifyig templates. Thankfully, modifying WP templates is allowed. Lol. I switched to WP, btw, because of the spam. Spam is death.

Anyway. A lot has happened since my last post. Went to Rizal Re-Creation Center in San Pablo, Laguna last weekend for a 3-day Leadership retreat, which was awesome. Got to meet people from Cebu and Bulacan, got to bond with friends and got to enjoy the place. Most importantly, I was able to conquer my fear of REJECTION. I’ll leave it at that. God is so good.

Father’s day! I miss Dad. We’re spending Monday (because malls are full on weekends) at SM Mall of Asia. None of us in the family have been there, so it’s the perfect opportunity.

So how am I? Well, I don’t have a job and I’m not studying, but I’m always working and I’m always learning. Uyeh. It’s amazing how this one year of rest is turning out to be…not a curse but a blessing. If only I could express how much my life — faith, perspective and character — is changing for the better. It’s like finding myself, answering the questions I threw myself in the past about how I had not enough reasons. It feels incredible, absoluely inexplicable, to find my Reason.

To the Journ people: I MISS YOU GUYS. Sorry if I haven’t been around, like tagging or anything…I’ve been busy with stuff. Which would explain why it took over a month to get out of hiatus. LOL. I’ll really try to be there if we have an outing. Congrats to those who have jobs, and to those who don’t yet, don’t worry.
