Charlie Brown Café!
I’ve been to Charlie Brown Café here in Hong Kong before, but that was a year and a half ago and we didn’t stay to eat. So this is practically my first time really experiencing it, and although the taste wasn’t anything extraordinary, the sights and the feel of the place is enough to make a trip for. Some pictures!

In that last picture, the cup reads “Charlie Brown wins your heart with his losing ways. It always rains on his parade, is baseball game, and his life.” While we were there, we were joking about how depressing that sounded, but I used to read the comics as a kid and I knew it was true. Sad, but that really was his appeal. Poor Charlie.
More pictures on my Facebook. I loved it, so I might go back sometime to try some of the other stuff. :]

I’ve always thought that Peanuts was the most depressing comic strip ever. I can’t believe that I’ve been to HK lots of times and I haven’t tried Charlie Brown Cafe.

Hi!
I was checking out the web for info on Charlie Brown Cafe. If you don’t mind, I’d like to ask a question. How much are the foodstuffs there, and what do they serve? I’ve read from another blog that they not only serve pastries, but also pasta dishes… I do hope you could give me a reply, because I’ll be in HK soon and I’d love to try the food there.
Thanks in advance!

Wow I really feel bad about this, I totally missed this comment. Yeah they do sell other stuff like sandwiches, salad and some pasta. I’ve only tried some of the pastries and drinks though, but from what I’ve tried (and heard) the food is good but nothing extraordinary. I still would really recommend it for the sheer novel value, it’s a nice place and you get faces on your desserts. :]
Oh also the food isn’t that expensive for HK standards. I don’t have exact prices but I remember the prices were fair. They have a bunch of Peanuts merchandise too, and do bring a camera. ;] Thanks for dropping by!
