So, without warning as far as this blog is concerned, I’m back in Hong Kong. But stress on the post title. It really has been.

Signal number 3 here, from what I understand it’s about a 1.5 in the Philippine storm signal system. The storm seems headed even closer to HK, and what timing! I’m one of the people who’re supposed to make a presentation for the long-awaited/feared meeting with a very important client. I don’t even know if they have contingency plans. Haha! Oh well, it’ll be fine.

I’m beat, but after this week (still half a week to go), I plan to enjoy. After all, Hong Kong’s in on the whole Olympics thing. Good timing on that one. ;]

…and then this came along.

And then I sat back, and started thinking. About that key, about that idea. I think we all know how it feels to be lost. I mean literally lost — in that moment you notice that you don’t recognize anything around you. Not only do you not know where you are, you also don’t know where to go from there, and even retracing your steps isn’t as easy as it should be.

People react different ways. Some spend half an hour figuring out what happened, some start walking to wherever, some stop to analyze, and some (like madmen) decide that they’re just taking the scenic route.

There came a point when the difference between the solution and the problem became relative. When to others, it became so clear and wide that it could not be ignored.

So who’s really insane?

Had a great lunch today, over Italian, cheesecake and a whole lot of catching up. Threw this together real quick. Missed them so much! It’s rare that we’re all together like that, so it was a special day. I’m extremely lucky, blessed, to have them. Well, the Sbarro guys were watching us like vultures coz we stayed so long, but who cares? We’re back! ;)

Is life good or what? Haha!

Literally and figuratively.

The long-rumored-and-awaited company outing still doesn’t seem close to becoming a reality, so some of us decided to have a mini outing of our own. Well not really much of an “outing” for me since it was at my place, but it was made of a surprisingly high amount of win. :]

It was Brawl day, and I got to play a few rounds (pretty decently too considering I’ve only played it a few times). After that we pulled out the grill, and because I totally forgot we had an igniter, we had to do it the old-fashioned way. Thankfully we all had experience with it, so it went well haha. Well-done Liempo mhmm.

A short while after eating, swimming. See the mad dive fest on my Multiply album. Some ghey moments, a lot of spashing, mad fun. Good times, good times.

The Good

I got that position I’ve been praying for! Hoohoo! And the appraisal interview went well, I really appreciated the constructive criticism. :]

Cat also got the position she wanted! Hahaha (blogging it for you chica :P) Talk about coincidence!

I finally put stuff in my “About Me” page, I actually forgot it was empty. Nothing much haha.

I just got my new computer table (more like a cabinet~) aaand My PC is being assembled, I’ll be getting it tomorrow or Wednesday. Quad core baby! Took a big bite out of my savings but it’s worth it. :]

The Bad

Mama (grandma, dad’s side) just had surgery last night. She slipped and broke her hip. We’re visiting her today.

The Random

I think I’ll revamp my blog again. I dunno, it feels cramped. Kinda feel bad about it since it’s new, but hey, the only thing constant, eh? I used to like small themes like this, dunno what happened *scratches head*.

I should use Twitter more. :\
